We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our client team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data platforms, and data processing technologies, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills to manage and deliver complex data solutions. You will support multiple projects for the end client in the USA from the position of a solutions architect.

Wymagania

Cloud Technologies (Azure):
- Extensive expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including:
  - Azure Infrastructure (data components)
  - Azure networking and authorization
  - Cloud infrastructure management and design
Data Platforms and Tools:
- Proficient with data platforms such as:
  - Azure Synapse (especially Synapse Serverless and Synapse Pipelines)
  - Databricks (including DLT Pipeline, Workflows, and Administration)
  - Data Lakehouse architecture
  - Medallion Architecture and Metadata Driven ETL concepts
Programming Languages and Data Processing Technologies:
- Skilled in:
  - Python for programming and code optimization
  - Apache Spark for designing and developing data processing workflows
  - SQL for creating and optimizing queries, and managing databases
  - SQL Server integration with cloud services
ETL / ELT Processes and Data Architecture:
- Expertise in:
  - Designing and implementing ETL / ELT processes
  - Best practices in data warehouse design
  - Managing large datasets using a Data Lakehouse approach
Integration, Automation, and Optimization:
- Capable of:
  - Developing and implementing CI/CD processes for Synapse, Databricks, and other services
  - Optimizing code and data processing
  - Implementing logging and monitoring solutions for processes and applications
Data Analysis and Visualization Tools:
- Proficient in using Power BI to create reports on analytical platforms
Technical and Design Skills:
- Skilled in:
  - Designing scalable custom solutions and data platforms
  - Applying best software engineering practices
  - Strong knowledge of GIT and branching strategy in Azure DevOps
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to share knowledge through technical documentation and presentations
- Mentoring capabilities
Leadership Experience:
- Experience as a Lead Engineer
- Managing project teams and leading projects
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver suitable technological solutions
