Group Financial Controller

Your responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing process improvement and changes for Reporting standards;
• Working closely with various Group stakeholders including tax, treasury, commercial, developers and marketing;
• Supporting global consolidation process;
• Delivering monthly reporting;
• Implement and maintain IT systems for Consolidation;
• Responsible for ensuring accounting compliance: establish and enforce a comprehensive list of internal controls for the country accounting and financial procedures, designed to mitigate financial risk and ensure reported results and financial records comply with Financial Standards;
• Ensure the accuracy of all accounting transactions;
• Coordinate the annual external group financial audits, facilitating the preparation of information to the audit team;
• Drive the annual group budget and forecasting cycles with a strong focus on improving forecast accuracy and process improvement while providing the organization with guidance on the direction of the business;
• Coordinate with the local heads of finance to ensure inter-company transactions are properly accounted for;
• Ensure all reporting deadlines are met;
• Participate in any and all reasonable work activities an assigned by local management.

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
• Minimum of 6 years practical work experience and familiarity with areas of intercompany transactions, revaluation, translation, multi-currency consolidations and financial reporting;
• Advanced PC skills using Outlook, Word, Excel (ability to perform Pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel);
• Prior experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics a plus;
• Proven ability to leverage current technology to drive process efficiencies.
• CPA or Accounting certification preferred;
• Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and foreign currency translation;
• Ability to work with a high level of initiative, self-motivation, and confidence; work cordially with others;
• Demonstrated stress tolerance to work in a fast-paced work environment with definitive timelines;
• Exceptional written and oral communication, teamwork orientation and diplomacy;
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
